Determining the Right Floor Scrubber Size

Business owners who want to make a good first impression on their customers need to keep their establishments clean. One of the first things customers notice when they come in your building is the state of your floors, and when it comes to cleaning, nothing beats an automatic floor scrubber. When buying an automatic floor scrubber, the most important thing to consider is its size. These tips will serve as your guide in determining the right size of floor scrubber to buy.

Floor Surface Area

Businesses like malls, hotels, and car dealerships have a lot of ground to cover.  If your business is in the same industry or has similar cleaning needs, you would need a heavy duty floor scrubber. You’d do better with a rider floor scrubber than a walk-behind scrubber when cleaning a space with a larger floor surface area.

Type of Area

While floor surface is a large factor in determining the scrubber size, you would also need to consider the type of area you would need to clean. If there are parts of your floor located in a tight corner or small spaces, you won’t do well with a rider floor scrubber. A walk-behind floor scrubber would be suited better to clean in between hard-to-reach places.

Door Width

The floor scrubber you buy should be able to fit through every passage way in the building or you’ll have to resort to manually cleaning some areas. Measure your doorways and be sure to check machine specifications.
