How to Boost Your Automatic Floor Scrubber’s Efficiency

If you have an automatic floor scrubber, then you probably already know how to operate it. There are a few measures, however, that you should take to increase the effectiveness of your automatic floor scrubber and preserve its lifespan.

Step One: Prep the Area

Properly ready the area hours before starting cleaning. Make sure to put up a caution sign to keep people from walking across the floor you are cleaning. Many slips and falls are caused by a wat floor during cleaning.

Step Two: Remove Excess Debris

Dust the area to get rid of loose debris, which can potentially damage your automatic floor scrubber. If any loose trash gets trapped under the floor scrubber, it could result in your floor having streaks. Also, it’s much easier to remove lose debris when they are dry than when you already wet the floor for scrubbing.

Step Three: Actually Cleaning

Start cleaning the floor from the outside to the inside. This helps ensure that the automatic floor scrubber is able to suck up all the solution that it lets out. Then work by dividing the room in half rather than by doing it in one big sweep. Working in smaller divisions allows you to finish early and yield a good result. You may continue the process until the cleanest appearance of your floor shows up.
